I've definitely experienced a few times when calling 5dimes up the "bad" customer service that everyone talks about, but after further thinking and experience the way they act is irrelevant because the money is in my hand through western union without much delay and they have betting options that fit my taste (open parlay, etc).
When you think about it and pretend that you are an online sportsbook, what comes to your mind about a customer insinuating that your employees might be stealing from customers? When you don't show any intelligence or understanding, that's when you allow people like tony to go off on you and trash you around not giving a shit. Tony - while being a little rough around the edges - is fair from what I have seen. You have to understand something - he has every degenerate in the world coming after him from every angle trying to pull shit. Bonus scams, somebody stole my money scams, I didnt bet that wager scams - everything under the sun scams.
So his first position on anything is that he isnt going to be played a fool. He has seen this before, and he takes an intimidating tone so that you know he has seen this before. And you know what? 99% of the time he is right.
And in this case, the original poster didnt even attempt to explain his situation to Tony, and that is the most damning evidence of all that he is full of shit. After Tony gave his rant - if indeed there was a stolen IP or whatever - the person that was actually stolen from would calmly present a case with evidence - and at that point Tony would consider the case.
Its pretty simple from Tonys point of view on this case. You are trying to tell me that somebody logged on to your account, placed wagers without you knowing - for what reason???? To win on your account? Tony knows that they will ONLY send money to YOU, so what is someone going to accomplish by placing wagers on your account?
It doesnt add up. And the more I think about it and see these kind of posts - the more I think Tony is spot on with his approach. This is not a bank or an airline. This is a business where 99% of the issues you deal with are degenerates and scammers taking a shot. I think there is something to learn from this approach.

They have all the names, cc, logins, etc. I am going to leave that debit card/credit card bank acct very low. As with all things, people will rip you off at that level. They have finally found the golden goose. A site like 5D, they get all the info they want, tap into accts. for small pieces from winners, block big winners. Sell bank acct card numbers, and so on. I have talked to only 6 different people at 5D. Kept their names and call names " " for security reason. From the names, I can tell them must be italian mafia. You can also tell when you talk to some of the others, ask about fees and see what response you get. Never trust a guy named tony.

An acct. from Belize will send money to themselves or a thrid party. I dont believe for a second these guys wont rip people off for little bits here and there if possible, and it is possible. Why not ! It gets blamed on a third party, of whom we dont know. Cant turn to the cops ? right ? or credit card company, their not going to cover it.
