But if you want a salad dressing tip...... in the salad thread, pretty much every specifically stated that they use oil and red wine vinegar.

Can drop a little lemon or dijon in there if you feel like it.

Honey Mustard will destroy your pallette for the rest of the meal.

And Poppy Seed dressing should not even be legal.

And everybody on the Globe loves Ranch dressing.

And Russian dressing IS ketchup so you know.

Would you like more info?

Honey Mustard is too strong in my opinion.

French is ok

Fried Shrimp-

Sounds like your wimpy little taste buds can't handle much.  Go do some push ups.

Hey Mr. Gourmet, the word you are reaching for is palate. You should really learn how to spell a word before you try to use it in a sentence. Idiot.

Back in the day my aunt would buy the hidden valley ranch packets to make ranch with milk and mayonaise...It always came out kinda thin and runny compared to the stuff in a bottle..It was killer. I used to put that shit on everything.

Buttermilk

Can also use 2%

Why is this clown in the Food Forum?

Vinaigrettes are the best.  I like Newmans Own lite balsamic.  But all kinds of vinaigrettes work well.  Of course I like ranch, who doesn't, but it's really more of a dipping sauce.  Creamy garlic is usually really good too.

Home made olive oil and red wine vinegar (garlic, salt, and pepper along with a little dijon mustard)

Shrimp

Grab a bottle of Bernsteins Italian dressing in the bottle @ the grocery store gents. Thank me later.

PS. Honey mustard is disgusting.
