I call it Mac and Chicken EZ EZ

1 package Velvetta Mac/Cheese(Made per box instructions)

1 can kernel corn

1 12oz, package of Grilled Chicken (chopped into 1/2" cubes $2.75 @ Wal Mart)

Mix all together and bingo, maybe add some toasted hot dog buns for bread to go with it. Feeds 3-4 people. I discovered this by accident and everyone loved it.

Mac and Cheese is the most popular food in America.

Not sure would ruin it with canned corn but sounds filling.

If gonna start opening cans tho.  How about a can of peas?

For a splash of color.

Can you at least put some parsley or something in there so doesn't look all yellow?

Actually a can of tuna fish in that macaroni sounds pretty good.

Messing with macaroni is somewhat of a crime tho.  All it really needs is crack black pepper.

I went home the other night and gave this a try...though I made a few tweaks.

Mac n cheese
Frozen bag of mixed veggies (steamer bag)
Can of chicken (the small tuna sized can)

Was actually really good, and was just as quick as any other Mac n Cheese. Quite filling, and the veggies gave it a nice change of pace.

Good work Apache!

Would it be okay if the veggies didn't actually have to touch the mac/cheese?

Maybe put that "next" to the mac?

With the saltine crackers in the middle of the plate?

Maybe put those steamed vegetables right next to the mac?

And put the chicken on the other side of the plate?

Anybody?

Messing with Mac and Cheese is pretty risky stuff if want that to fly by the food forum.

Ain't nothing wrong with Mac n Cheese by itself.  And messing with Mac n Cheese is open........ but canned corn?????

Canned corn is used for changing tires.

Pre cooked chicken?

Really?

Did you really think that was going to fly in the food forum?

Really?

How about you use some leftover Rosemary grilled chicken and then dump that into the Mac.

But Wal Mart chicken?

Really?

Can't I just eat each of those separately?  If I feel daring I'll just mix em up in my plate.

Mac n cheese w/tuna is pretty good.  Chicken might be OK.  Mac w/ corn just seems weird.

You could put each one on a separate plate. The idea is a one pot meal that can be put in a bowl. Maybe a salad on the side.
