Left my gym card in the locker room and it vanished.

The manager tells me that it will cost 10 dollars to replace. Is this standard procedure?

The fucking card is a piece of plastic the size of your thumb. I will gleefully hand a homeless person 50 dollars before I spot Mr dickless avocado body with no personality a red cent.

Do I need to calm down? Thanks.

Why would someone need to take it if they're already in the locker room

Weird

Hell if I know. It had a wrist rubber ring around it. My guess is they wanted that and then deep sixed the card.

Laid down a $40 deposit on a card to get into Anytime Fitness.

Gym Contracts

100 bucks for one year...no contract.

The 10 spot is 10% of that.

Gotta go with the closest gym to the crib................

But a $40 deposit on a two dollar key fob?

Just use your drivers license to get in

Lately just walkin in and not even looking at the front counter. Walk right on by.

10 bucks will never be paid until my membership is up in Feb.

Get em' Search. I am convinced that damn near everything in this world is a money racket. Seems to me as if almost everyone in this world is a greedy money hungry prick. Disgusting. Anything to make a buck.

This is definitely a scam by the gyms.  My gym its $30 to replace a lost card but its written in the contract.

$5 to replace at my gym and they do cost the club $, especially if they are fancy ones.  The main reason gyms charge this is because some members like to hand out cards to friends as they try to let them use it to sneak in.  This helps curb some of that if there is a charge.

Obviously not the case here, use your DL to check in for a while, 8 times out of 10 your card will pop up somewhere and the gym should hold it at the front desk for you.  Keep asking.

Sounds like you have anger issues

That would be a roger.

Well I ended up just paying the dickless manager his 10 bucks but he had to wait 30 days and take some abuse to earn it.

Aww man don't we all.  I just told some old chick who was trying to pick up on me that she was a hideous dogface and I hate her.

Sad but true.
