gym music

There was a question here about music in the gym, and I was wondering if you're allowed to put your music on? Because I only do that if there aren't many people in the gym. Usually, you can't make a comment to anyone that the music isn't appropriate for the workout, and it's not always comfortable to work out with headphones on.

that's one reason I like to workout at home. Headphones don't work for me either.

Blue tooth headphones at the gym are great. 

You can blare rock music (i.e. Metallica) and get (as those 2 guys from saturday night live would say) "pumped up".

Mostly I don't like music in the gym, but it's not a problem because it sounds quiet. I listen to my music in headphones, very comfortable.
