France is the better disciplined team. They control possession excellently, pass back and forth, penetrate, and look for the pass to in front of the goal for the score. I was surprised how long they keep possession when on offense. Better than anyone else.
Croatia has an opposite style. They're more sloppy, kick the ball deep toward the goal and hope one of their teammates gets there fast to kick the ball to the goal. They take long shots but most of the time the ball slows too much before reaching.
Two different styles.
France wins it.
Vive la France.
