Why is Russia favored over Algeria??

I donlt get it the books have Algeria as a big dog to Russia at +300 on the ML When clearly Algeria has shown they are the superior team.

I took Algeria +300 ML as a no brainer they shoud surely beat this weaker Russian team

+300 = No Brainer, lol. Not sure why you think Algeria is a superior team. because they beat up a terrible Korea team?

is Algeria a "lock" to advance OR could they get knocked out IF they lose to Russia OR does it come down to "goal differential"?

I've watched both teams play and I just think that Algeria has better skilled players and look hungrier. Russia on the other hand has been very unimpressive.

And to your Korea comment Russia could not even beat them so what does that tell you.
