I may be stating the obvious here, but let me write it anyways and hear your thoughts...
URU looked slow and old (overmatched) vs CRC. URU beat ENG with Suarez, but it was really more because ENG was horrible. URU "barely" beat ITA with a distracted super Mario (he didn't play in 2H) and against ITA playing 10-men in 2H. Now without Suarez vs a very good COL team (James/Guitterez playing great in WC so far).
URU still has experience and great players, but without Suarez, Cavani and Co might be overmatched.
