So far in the tournament, Netherlands have proven to be a competitive force, beating Spain (5-1) and Australia (3–2). If there is one thing that they have proven, it is that their 5 midfielders in the 4-5-1 formation are accurate as they are fast. Although Van Persie picked up a second yellow against Australia and is unable to play against Chile, this team has an extremely high amount of confidence.
However, chile understand that the result of this game determines the seedlngs for the round of 16.
