Mexico coach made a terrible decision

Question

Taking out Mexico's best player Dos Santos only up 1 measly goal with almost half the game left! Mexico had all the momentum going forward and that completely killed their flow going on. They wee playing on their heels he rest of the game and it cost them.At the 60 min mark when you are only up a goal you do not take out your top striker you go for a second goal and keep the pressure on the opponent! Bad move coach.

This exactly, they had great possesion and momentum. Then suddenly you decide "that enough offensive for now".... hmm sad move

Totally agree. The best defense is a great offense.

They got desperate that's why. The Mexico manager is completely new at this coaching thing. He saw his team dominating the game from start until they got the goal. They got scared and decided to push everyone back and defend. And when they did counter attack, they just wanted to pretty much waste time and not look for another goal.I had holland ml and I was lucky to win, because of this poor coaching decision.
