So from what i understand Ghana can only advance if

#1 USA loses to Germany

#2 Ghana wins but....

this is where i get confused. So if Ghana wins by 1 and USA loses by 1 thus both have a 0 pt differential does that mean USA will advance since they beat Ghana? So thus Ghana needs to either win by more than 1 or USA needs to lose by more than 1

is that correct?

Why go thru all that when the former German national coach can call his former assistant coach who is now the German national coach and say something logical like let&#39;s just tie and screw 2 dangerous teams. I&#39;m sure Klinsmann and Loew are good friends.
