The biggest disappointment for me is Italy and also would love to have seen the USA.
Argentina is not really into it and I can't say I'm surprised. Germany is 4 years older - "defending champs" means less than "pedigree".
To answer your question directly the biggest disappointment for me is the play of both Spain and Uruguay.
The biggest surprise is the great play of Mexico and Russia. I took Mexico a few days ago to win it all at 39-1
