In this era its astonishing how people still believe the books set "trap or baiting' lines...its all about getting equal action on both sides and the public money moves lines.

These are huge market games with tons of handle. The spreads on Soccer money lines is SOOO huge for the house if they move the lines accordingly they have a super advantage even on 63%/37% lopsided action (I'm not including the draw on the $ split but will factor that in to the result).
There was money coming in on South Korea simple as that, the house not needing to take a position on such a huge pay day as World Cup.
My take is a large amt of bettors taking into consideration the upsets and draws that have been going on so far and factoring that into this game - as well as "Germany came out flat, Mexico's win was a fluke, all the squares jumping on Mexico all because of the win vs Germany, I'm a sharp contrarian bettor blah blah blah..."
