Just curious as to who can help me as I’m sure others placed this bet

I placed a bet for “best South American team”
Then under that it stated “FIFA World Cup final ranking by tournament”

If I bet Brazil and both them
And Uruguay were knocked out today
Then what is the result of this bet?

My book paid me out on “ best South American team “ because I guess they were technically the last team standing and had a higher ranking.  You should be paid too

I think Uruguay was around 9.00 to be the best South American team. That was a nice value consider Brazil had to face either Belgium or England in the 1/4.
