Well I thought France would win easy too and they didn't score until the 80 min mark! They were almost down in the game a few times. That second goal in the last minutes was totally unexpected they weren't even trying on the corner kicks.
I feel lucky to have won my France -1 bet. I have Germany in a ML PARLAY with France so all they need to do is win by 1 in regulation. I am pretty confident that will happen. But you never know what will happen the way these games have been going lately.
One thing Germany has over the French is some serious finishers up front. I don't see them blowing as many chances as France did in front of the goal.
On the flip side, Germany's defense is a little suspect and Algeria has numbers that can penetrate up front so that worries me a little. I also think Algeria will be all fired up and play a very very intense game. They will not make it easy for Germany.
Having said all that I think Germany ML in Regualtion is a very strong bet if you are willing to spill the juice on it. If you have the bankroll I say go for it. There may not be as strong of a play left like this one in the WC.

Yep I agree... many of these games have big juice for an outright winner... but this one has the talent to back up the odds.
FWIW I plan to bet USA +280 on Tuesday. Germany is one of the best in the tournament and USA played them almost to OT. I think USA is being sold short on the odds. Belgium is simply not all that good of a team, and less experienced than USA.

Germany has had difficulties with African teams that are physically superior. Algeria and Ghana are EXACTLY that. Germany is like the DUKE of soccer: Lots of lanky white dudes who follow a game plan and get a few more lucky shots because of their unity and game plan execution. (And doesn't Mike Krsyshevski look like Adolf?) You can expose DUKE, just as you can expose Germany.
