Argentina +135

team has all the characteristics of a championship team

a strong D and a star player to rally around

not to mention the last 4 times a country from the hosting continent

played a team from a different continent in championship they won

bottom line ...

things could get Messi for Germany

It almost seems written in the stars for this argentina squad.  I love them at plus money.  They play completely different than a depleted Brazilian squad. If argentina does win they will have won every single match this world cup. No disrespect to Germany but I think their last game should not be any indicator to how this game will go.  This line actually seems way off to me.  Give me the value here with a strong side to boot.

^ nice write up kazual

this screams a sweet deal. Argentina have been heavily criticised and are underrated. Sure, Germany have an incredible pool of talents covering all the departments. Argentina is almost the same as them, most of their players are unrecognised compared to Germany's, but they did perform with quality and acted as one unit too. Media have kept these underrated players below the radar and have mainly focused on Messi.

Argentina got thoroughly outplayed the entire 2nd half and ET and got a win via the stupid penalty kicks. Netherlands is nowhere near as solid as Germany. I just don't see it

Thoroughly outplayed. .. well every person I have talked to disagrees with your statement including my friends from espn. My friends and I have differing opinions on how the final game will end but I don't see how this is a bad beat and that the argentina squad got outplayed. If anything they are just doing what they do and that is win.

Bad bet (correction)

I frankly don't understand the love for ARG.  Needing OT on 2 of the 3 knock-out rounds,.. and PKs on the last .  This team isn't convincing to me.. and GER has found their mojo with Klose mounted as the top striker formation.

lol @ dutch beat down of brazil

team is / was a joke

 germanys 7-1 win means nothing

Messi gonna be a happy guy tomorrow
