Not a free agent you picked up, but a player some fool dropped and you scooped up.

I'm starting this b/c some guy dropped Nelson Cruz the 2nd week of the season. Even more amazing is I didn't even check the WW until about the 4th day he was eligible for pick up. So not only was he dropped, but was sitting there for 4 days.

so for me, Nelson Cruz...you?

Nelson Cruz?! That's quite ridiculous. Are you sure you're in a competitive league?

So far for me in one league I snatched Casey McGehee immediately after he was dropped after the draft. He holds a O-rank of 358 on Yahoo and was drafted in the 20th out of 22nd, but he really helped my team last year. I guess nobody had faith this late-bloomer would be able to reproduce what he did the previous year.

Your league may be competitive im not questioning that but i am telling you it if full with 100% complete idiots if Cruz was dropped and then PASSED THROUGH WAIVERS with no claims and you got him off the free agent list. Mine have been Jamie Garcia, Kelly Johnson, Marlon Byrd and Brett Gardner

Between 3 leagues - Huston Street, Clay Buchholz, David Ortiz, Jair Jurrjens, Brian Roberts, and Jorge De La Rosa.

Also, in a points league, I drafted Strasburg, dropped him, then picked him back up some weeks later.

I picked up Buster Posey and had him for two weeks, he wasn't doing much at the time and I cut him since I didn't have room for him (catcher is McCann) and I picked up Big Papi for my Utility player to replace Posey.
