Waiver Wire Quarterback For This Week

Limited options here in a league with some funky scoring.

Passing TD: 4 pts
Rushing TD: 6 pts
20 pass yards: 1 pt
5 completions: 1 pt
INT: -2
Lost Fumble: -3
Sack: -1

So the options are pretty limited this week. I'll list the highest projected in descending order.

Campbell @ Baltimore
McCown @ Green Bay
Ponder @ Dallas
Flacco @ Cleveland
Keenum vs. Indy
Geno Smith vs. New Orleans
Clemens, Glennon, Thad Lewis, who I'm def not starting.

I plucked Roethlisberger yesterday reluctantly. I think Pitt can compete, but it's a bad matchup with the pats improved secondary and Pitt's suspect O-Line when I lose a point for a sack.

Is it worth picking up any of those other QBs? I actually think Minnesota will put up points. I just don't know if it's all going to be AP or not.

While I'm at it, how about help with a defense? Basically 4 options on my wire:

Philly @ Raiders
Cleveland vs. Baltimore
Buffalo vs. Kansas City
Rams vs. Titans

Don't feel like going over the scoring, but points allowed means a lot. If you don't get sacks or picks, you'll get nothing.

Let me also add that I'm willing to take a chance this week cuz the dude has some pretty nice players and already started the week off nicely with Gio Bernard.

I know I won't get too much upside with any of those guys, but anywhere between 25-30 points would be my target. Campbell has 26 last week somehow.

okay here are my thoughts at QB for ya
1, Flacco just based on poise and talent, coming off the bye they need to get going unfortunately Haden is gonna blanket Smith

1b, keenum, I think its a bit more risky but he will pay most rewards I think hes a player and has some weapons just alone in dumping the ball off

2, mccown, I think the bears cant stop anyone on defense and will have to throw in this one

the other 2 id not bother with

Defense
Id have to say the Bills, they are at home and can get to the QB, I dont think KC can run it up on anyone unfortunatley the bills may leave KC in good field position all day w/o a qb
next choice is the rams but they are comingoff a short week and Tennessee a bye so I project Tenn putting up atleast 20 on them

so id say ya throw caution to the wind and roll with Keenum and Buff

KC hasn't allowed DD fantasy points the whole season too. Damn, I'd really have to go out on a limb to start Buffalo DEF this week, but I just feel it.
