Waiver Help

my team is
Romo, Favre, Edwards, Leinhart, Kitna
MJ Drew, Ch. Johnson, Reggie, F.Taylor, Coffee
S.Smith, R.Willaims, Holmes, Moore

We start 2 qb's each week

I need a receiver but don't really want to waste my number one pick on one of these guys as I can pick him one up after the claims are done equal to whats available

QB - Vick, Thigpen, J.Johnson, Boller
(just thinking about screwing someone else in need for trade purposes but none will help my team)
RB Choice, R.Williams
(don't really need a rb)
WR K.Washington, Burleson, Bradley, Holt, Nicks

Im thinking I could grab Nicks after the waiver is over and keep my slot assuming the aforementioned are gone

Yeah, I'd expect Burleson to be gone thru the waiver process.  You're probably safe w. waiting on Hicks b/c of the emergence of Smith and Manningham,

we are trade friendly, not sure if I want to chase a trading partner in case someone doesnt trade with me I am stuck with him and he will not start for me this week
but I see your point he is a valuable commodity
who would you drop if you were me

I would drop Leinhart and try to pick up Celek.  If he is gone you could go after Davis.  I just don't really like what I'm seeing from the Raiders and would want to get far away from anyone on their team.
