what are you waiting for, you better hope the offer is still there, the 2nd beat player in fantasy for a 2nd tier 3rd baseman and a closer, this one is a no brainer

Yah I love Hanley and would love to get him on my team. As for Longoria, a 2nd tier 3rd baseman??? The guy is possibly the best 3rd baseman in the league outside of AROD. Joakim Soria is my top closer in my opinion, but I do have 3 others so not a huge loss.
To be honest, I've never been a huge trade guy. I like sticking with my squad, especially when I'm already sitting in 1st. I actually got Soria in a trade prior to the season starting for Alexei Ramirez (looks like a good deal for me so far). This definitely looks like a trade I can't pass up, but curious what others thought.
Thanks for your opinion!!!

I would sit tight.Longoria is the man and Soria is atop closer. While Hanley is a great player I think he is over valued in fantasy. You have a good squad and can win with taht roster.Good luck.

Yah I really love Longoria (expect him to put up MVP numbers this year and drafted him on both my teams; and I went to college with him so always route for the guy), but I decided to send out a counter offer. Longoria, Morales, Street for Hanley and Matsui: trade went through. I tried to originally get Mcgehee instead of Matsui, but he wasn't having that. Like I mentioned I'm not a big trade guy (especially sitting in 1st), but my lowest category by far is SB and hopefully Hanley should get that number up.
Thanks for the opinion!!!

You didn't really just consider Longoria a "2nd tier 3rd baseman" did you? He's get pleanty of RBI chances in that lineup. He'll hit more Homers than HanRam and he'll get runs with the guys behind him. I'm not downplaying HanRam...but Longoria is a one of the best in baseball. He and A-Rod will put up the best numbers of any 3rd baseman in baseball if not ANY ballplayer.
