I have the 4th pick in my draft tonight, who would you take?

If this is a league for cash i would suggest putting your hatred for the phills and utley behind you and pick him. i am a redsox fan and with the 3rd pick i took arod. i hate the yankees but i would love to win my league. if its not a league for money i would take braun or padilla. does it really matter if its not for money?

no, it's for money...i just don't think i can do it, i hate Utley

Brauns numbers are as good as Utleys too, so it's not a sacrifice

yes their numbers are equal. Its just the fact utley plays 2nd base and there is NO ONE like him at his position. Yes braun is great but if you were to take utley you will be able to grab someone like matt holliday or Justin Upton on the way back to you. Now if you take Braun you will end up with someone like either aaron hill who i think was a one year wonder. maybe he will be good again but never anything like he was last year. maybe brian roberts or dan uggla. There are better 2B if you want to over pay for them by selecting them with your 3rd pick which i wouldent do. So ask yourself what looks better

Team A: Utley and Upton or Holliday

Team B: Braun and Brian Roberts

i took Brandon Phillips in my 1st draft in the 9th round the other day...i think he's the 3rd or 4th best 2nd basemen out there - i'm gonna look for him again come the 7th or 8th round

Hanley Ramirez slipped to me at #4, wow. They guy who had the 2nd pick was very late to the draft and auto picked Lincecum, and the 3rd pick chose ARod.
