A second rounder next year = keeper. Not giving that up for a #4 or #5 fantasy starter and a middle/lower tier closer.

I'll think it over. I'm really giving up a lot. I know I'm selling...but I don't want to just take an offer because it's all I have.

And I'm still trying out deals so there's a chance I go back and re-offer it. But I gotta see if anyone else is interested.

understandable, wasnt sure if u were going for it or what. figured if your not going for it it be worth a shot at him....

thats my problem i have 0 use for lesser closers bc they hurt more then they help.

and there really arent many SS better then Alexie out there to upgrade.

its also hard to get a starter i'd need without giving up stuff im not willing to

Kennedy, Ubaldo, Haren, Latos, Verlander, Lester, Oswalt, Billingsley, Ogando.

If anything you should be trying to sell a couple of them to help elsewhere. Just my opinion.

my staff is sick but in the playoffs anything can happen and it can never hurt to have to much pitching.

honestly though the only spots where i can upgrade are Catcher and Shortstop and whats the purpose of giving away a starter for them when Salty and Ramirez are both top 10 at their positions

and it doesnt hurt losing all those 1-3 picks especially when i have that extra keeper thanks to pedroia trade.

i figure its better going for it then waiting for it to happen
