Your talking to the person who picked him up before his first start last year. I know who he is. I know he is going to be good. You asked for an opinion so i gave it. Im not saying Lohse has been great his whole career. Im saying THIS YEAR i picked up a player who is better than Chacin off the wire. I just picked Travis Wood up off the wire last week. Is he Chacin no. Is he close enough to make me want to hold on to Ellsbury and Reyes and add him instead of trading one of them for Chacin. Absolutely!

Didn't look at team's needs or anything but it's fair. The 5th pick helps to even out Beltre's awesomeness.

I look at it this way. You traded Beltre for Werth, Vladdy and move up 5 rounds in the draft. The rest of the guys Chipper, Burnett, Torres, Melancon and Soriano are all replacable and pretty much waiver wire guys. Sorianos stats look good but the guy is terrible and has not done shit in forever. He had a nice 2-3 weeks. If anything i think he should have got the 5th round and you the 10th which makes me think you won this trade by a nice margin .

ManRam gave up on trading for pitching once he got Marcum and Price from me.

Boston trade Crawford back to Tampa so i can get the guy back i drafted. Guy was a top 5 player last year. This year playing like a 25th rounder . I know people think i was stupid picking him as early as i did 6th overall but his numbers justified it. On top of that i built my team around him. All the mock drafts and stuff i found myself having a better team at the end drafting him over guys like Votto, Cabrera and some of the others. He used to give every single stat. Then i got guys like Fielder, Dunn, Bautista in the next 3 rounds to make up for not grabbing someone like Cabrera or Votto 1st. If it was only so easy right...
