Yea. I figured since everyone is coming off the DL and I have a guy to drop and a spot on my DL open that I'd throw him in there before someone else chose to do so.

That would be my guess. Not a bad idea as long as he is not taking up a DL spot that you need.

Worst case scenario I'll be forced to drop him and someone else with a spot will pick him up. I'll do my best to keep him where he is.

I think a free roll into next season is deserved for those who finish the season behind me because it's a near impossible feat.

Anybody like Smoak? The plus with him is that he can be franchise tagged. And if you don't have a stud 1st baseman under contract...the only big 1B on the market next year is Howard.

No one is gonna trade for Smoak when Trumbo is on the Free Agent List and he is better
