Block Buster trade advice

My team is 8-0 so i dont wanna mess with it that much but another team is pretty bad and needs alot of depth i can provide and can possible improve my team.

My team:
QB- Schaub, Orton
RB- Peterson, S. Jackson, Blount
WR- Boldin, Ward, Garcon, B. Edwards
TE- Gates, Heap
K- Carpenter, Gostkowski

He had some bad luck, had Romo at QB and Pierre Thomas as a RB. I would be giving up Schaub or Orton, Steven Jackson, Blount, Boldin, Ward for Roddy White, Frank Gore, and Fred Jackson.  He is currently starting S. Holmes, Fitzpatrick, brandon jacobs, Fred Jackson, and Mike Williams with Gore on a bye, so I am giving him players at all of his holes.

Thoughts anyone? I am hesitant to do it because I lose alot of depth if anyone gets hurt im screwed, but if I can keep that team healthy i feel like i can win it all.

To make it easier my team after the trade would be:

Orton
Peterson
Gore
Fred Jackson/Braylon
White
Garcon
Gates
Steelers D
Carpenter

but with no one on the bench really

To make a long story short here , the answer is No., If  it aint broke dont fix it .

Ok this is more a question , if there ANY good players in FA you can to fill the open gaps you will have after the trade for depth?

You give up .

S Jackson / Boldin - Already top 10 guys

A QB in Schaub who is better than any FA guys . And Orton will lose his job after 2-3 more loses to give Tebow play time.

Ward - He will lay a egg once in a while , but still Little Bens main guy.

AND Blount who is could be a top 10 guy or a bust.

For Gore/White who are just upgrades to Jackson/Boldin and you lose depth ?

And you get Fred Jackson who is on the Bills who soon enough will take a backseat to Spiller.

 

Dont think I could pull the trigger, but just the thought of having Peterson, Gore, and White on the same team would be amazing. Both Packers WRs are out there (I already have Driver too on my bench) along with Patrick Crayton and Lee Evans. The only RBs out there are Tolbert, Woodhead and Forsett (Non PPR, and also a QB league 6/TD 1pt per 20 yards). I could also get him maybe to throw in Pierre Thomas and Matt Stafford probably, any thoughts on that? Sorry to make it long, and thanks for any input.

I would have done it in a heart beat. Who gives a shit what your giving up you are cleary getting the 2 best players in the deal in white and gore. Peterson, Gore, White, Gates would be your 4 best players. Now your 4 best players are Peterson, Gates, Mr. no touchdowns Steven Jackson and Boldin. Dont know how anyone would even think twice about this.

Thanks for the input manram, yeah its a tough choice, he wants to get it done before the games tomorrow I am just a little hesitant to mess with an 8-0 team. Keep Schaub over Orton?? Orton has the playoff match ups to start but I am worried that Tebow gets time if their team goes to shit. It helps both of our teams, I would have two top 5 backs and the #1 receiver in the league, plus gates who makes up for my slash position

So what if Orton gets benched. Say Orton gets you 20 points a week. There are guys on your free agents who will get you 15 at least. Having Gore over FRED JACKSON easily makes up for the difference. But hey wait Roddy White will make up EVEN MORE as an upgrade over Boldin. Take away Boldins 3 TD game and you have a pretty average reciever. White every single week you can BANK 100 yards or a TD.

Yeah i know it for sure makes my team better for a playoff run no arguing that. I have Steven Jackson though, he has Fred Jackson who I would be gettin back in return as a potential slash guy. I agree I might have to accept that, there are some decent QBs out there. The main guy I want is Roddy White so maybe I'll just offer him Boldin, Ward and maybe Blount? Its my cousin so he is tryin to help me out because his record sucks but people wont let the trade through unless its legit

I would do it. Schaub and Orton both suck so doesn't matter which one you have.
