West Virginia escaped disaster on Saturday with a 42 point scoring outburst in the second half, to earn a push against the number in a game in which they only led by 4 points going into the 4th quarter. The WVA offense was stymied by the Marshall defense in the first half scoring only 6 points. On defense WVA didn't fair any better with the Marshall offense going up and down the field at will. Were it not for a 21-0 WVA 4th quarter, Marshall would have earned an easy ATS victory, if not the game outright. I know this because I had Marshall +25 and was not happy to see the Thundering Herd run out of gas in the 4th to leave me with a push.
Tonight's foe will be another good test for WVA having to go on the road for a second week in a row as a big favorite. Last year's game at WVA saw the Mountaineers jump out to an early 28-0 lead and hold on for a 45-24 ATS victory. Maryland turned the ball over 5 times to WVA's 1. Yet it was Maryland who had the ball 1st and 10 at the WVA 14 yardline with about 3 1/2 minutes left in the game. A touchdown would have put them well inside the number which was 17. I also know this because I had WVA -17 and was sweating out that last possession by the Terps.
The two Maryland wins this season are really nothing to write home about as they didn't have very stiff competition with Villanova and Florida Int. WVA on the other hand looked exceptional on offense with both 62 and 48 point scoring outputs in their two games, what else is new? However they really looked poor on defense giving up 24 points to Western Michigan at home and 23 to Marshall on the road. I think Maryland will be ready and pumped up for this one, and I don't expect the Terps to run out of gas like Marshall, as it was Maryland who kept fighting to the end last year and almost cost me an ATS win.

Terps line bounced around today........took the over...game....under 1st/half. Went small on both.....
TCU -6.5 (bought 1/2 pt). large wager Really think they will handle Airforce well. Obviously havent done enough research on this game. I am basing predicition on both teams previous performance from week 1-2

I don't play over/unders but this thing looks like it will go over 100 points. Both D's look bad. But WVA will make anybody look bad. I am encouraged though, why is WVA throwing so much, are they trying to fool MD.
