I think both dogs can cover tonight... I'll tease Marshall to +18.5 & UTEP +26. I've heard UTEP is much improved this year and although Marshall doesn't impress me... If they load up and stop Devine, I think they cover here.

As someone who follows Houston closely, what I have to say is that I expect Houston's D to be much better this year. MARKEDLY improved.

If I play this one, I'll take UTEP.  I just don't see why this is such a thick chalk game.  Like Rekamyenom said above.  I agree, too smelly for me to lay the chalk with the perceived better team.  Houston lays a couple eggs every year......this game sets up for one of those games.  Might also take the under.

may have a grip on why this line is so lopsided.in their 1st game hou ran up 68 points on poor old txst(formerly known as southwest texas state,in san marcos.known mostly as a party school and box heaven.)not a real player in texas football.while utep played arkpb 1st game.arkpb is miles ahead of txst in trying to get recognized as a real football program.i'm thinking that the books don't recognize this as a relevant piece in a game that has such meaning to both schools.anyway,with that said i'm going back to my LONESTAR AND GETTING READY FOR SOME ASS KICKIN FOOTBALL,TEXAS STYLE!

I am with Collegesharp and Oahuboy in this one. 20.5 pts is a lot to ask for with Houston pourous Defense. I like Utep to keep it under 10 pts.
