A&M defensive passing yards per game ranks 94....clearly their weakness... Their 3 losses came to Ok. State, Ark, and Mizzou whom rank 2, 3, and 43, respectively. LSUs passing yards per game ranks 107... Looks like this plays greatly into A&Ms hands.
Agree/ disagree??

This coming from a bias SEC fan....

I really like the over here. A&M is a solid little team that later in the year showed they could play teams loaded with athletes.....and score on them......LSU is a better team across the board on the lines and are probably more battle tested playing in the SEC. They will bring a physical brand of football to the Cotton Bowl tonight for sure. Sharp said it correctly.....freshman QB......he just needs a couple mistakes from him to turn the table in the advantage to LSU. I agree, but I think those mistakes result in points also......and the LSU QB's will also make a mistake or two. Look for a high scoring affair tonight.....that's were my money will be.....but I also like the SEC here. I'm just not comfortable enough to play it. So, when you don't know who to pull for......root for everybody!!! Pound the over tonight!!!

I'm scared that I'm on the other side of you due to you being number 1 in our bowl contest right now
Bid D,My Brother !!! No worries,I'm betting with my Heart on This One... All stats point to LSU..Good Luck My Brother..
As I've pointed out in a couple posts earlier... the stats definitely favor the aggies. The only stat helping LSU is the fact that they play in the SEC... and we already saw how that helped arkansas and georgia

Easy there BigDaddy. Just missing his input and wondering if he threw in the towel...
i respect irisheyes opinion sometimes, but just as often he has write-ups that completely baffle me. the arkansas game was one of them. like 75% of those on the arkansas and osu thread, he was drinking the SEC kool-aid and used that as his main reasoning for picking the razorbacks. takes more than a conference to win games.

Irish, I followed you on Notre Dame. Ark was my own pick. Can anyone tell me why, when you block a punt, you don't just pick up the ball and head for the end zone? With you on the over, root for everyone!

Now that is some helpful info! I was leaning LSU based on what I read here, but this changes things. LSU will have trouble running the ball against a fired up A&M defense with a bunch of fans behind them.
I like to follow CollegeSharp and it has done well for me. I may just go under and watch them slug it out. Good info...props!

one last comment, as i just saw this, arkansas was EXTREMELY lucky to even be in that position. you can talk about the blocked punt and the dropped passes all you want, but OSU played conservative the entire 2nd half because of the big lead. say arkansas made some of those catches, then osu doesn't play conservative and scores even more points. say arkansas does run in the blocked punt, osu still had over 1 minute to score. Arkansas was lucky to even have a chance to take the lead, considering one of the worst safety calls i've ever seen went against them. But those who picked arkansas won't talk about that! When you have to play from behind, there are zero excuses and zero arguments for saying you were the better team. I am a die hard texans fan, believe me, I know about teams who come from behind, just to lose in the end... week after week after week after week

The under...game, set, match! Watch these teams walk back to the huddle after every play and take 15 seconds to get the next play called. I think the over bettors will be begging for the clock to stop.
Good luck everyone.
