These are excellent defensive teams and when matched up against other good defensive teams, they play under.  This is an obvious statement for VT, but UT had the #4 defense in the county last year as well.  Their offense was just awful last year.  I really like the under.  GL.

You have to go with the SEC team +6 in this situation. I know Kentucky didnt cover as a dog but that doesnt happen often. The ACC is already 0-1 with Miami getting their asses handed to them by a BIG-10 school. I look at it as a coaching battle. You give Monte Kiffin a month to gameplan for a virtually one dimensional QB. Also, Tenn will play very conservative and pound the ball with Hardesty. You can hate on Lane Kiffin all you want with his antics but the guy can coach.

I would bet any SEC +6 vs an ACC but because of the coaching involved in this game. I just think Monte Kiffin will outduel Beamer. I dont see VT being able to score that often.

If it wasn't for Kiffin, Sr what would UT have???  This game is a huge play for the under.  Can't see Compton playeing well with the time off.  He needs the repitition and competition to get good.  He willbe slow to make decisions and when he does, they most likely will be wrong after the Tech D has them in 3rd and longs.  Like Tech at -4.5 and UNDER.  I look for a Tech 17 UT 6 kind of game.  This may be the next to last loss for the SEC this bowl game (Miss is the other).

This will be senior montario hardesty's last game for the vols at running back as wel as safety eric berry....you va tech backers b glad this is the last bet of your year cuz money will b torched..maybe 2010 will be better 2 u..kiffin is the new hotness in the sec.  Monte Kiffin will have tyrod taylor runnin for his life...
