This is so easy, UCLA is terrible and they're going up against a solid SEC team that has a qb o-line and good rb?

Even coach Jewheisel has said that the kids he has now are frankly just not good and he is doing the best he can to work with what he has.

Im taking Tennessee minus the points to round out the easiest season opening week ever.

I KNOW this is a trap since this -7 looks too good to be true. Someone PLEASE keep me from loading up heavily on Tennessee!! Everytime the mini-Golden Bears start a third string quarterback I get suckered into betting against them but I JUST NEVER LEARN MY LESSON!!

Tenn is stout at all positions except QB.
UCLA is ?? at QB BIG TIME!!!!  They are starting the 3rd String QB!!
Also, TN has new QB BUT......TN has 80% of its starting offensive line returning in the SMASH MOUTH SEC.  PLUS TN has a STRONG RB behind a veteran line.  Not even a play not to lose hick like Fulmer can piss this game away.

TENN ML $$  just in case the Fulmer F*ck Up Gene kicks in.

TENN is too strong, too quick, too fast, too talented and too well coached not to dump UCLA into the ocean.

The last 4 games, going back to Utah / UNLV have all gone under.  So that is 4 in a row to the under.  The last 10 games, going back to Boston College, the over / under is 3 & 7.  Can we get 5 under games in a row?  Or will the trend reverse for Tenn / UCLA?  Trend is favoring the over for this game and the numbers favor Tennessee to cover.
 
If this game does go under I will pound many of the early over's next week.  I have been tracking trends and numbers for a while.  Over / Under's always have a way of balancing each other out.
 
My pick:  Over for the Game  & Tennessee -4 for 1st Half...

Tennessee will not cooperate tonight! It will be touting the SEC's best offensive line, with four starters back -- 62 combined starts -- who gave up an NCAA record four sacks in 2007. Look for the same in 2008 (and in tonights game).

I feel a bit of a rout in this one.  Tenn. should handle UCLA rather easily tonight.  I'd say Tenn. wins this one by at least 10 points.

Yeah this is the only bet I ended up taking on this game (so far), the ML 1st Half -230. I believe it will take UCLA the first half to figure out the "new team".
