I like the under in this one:

- USC O-Line is a weakness

- Spurrier is rotating QBs, (in the first half)

-  USC stud TE is out- USM O-Line is a weakness

Also, must consider that defenses usually have the advantage this early in the season.  I recall last year USC opening with a 7-3 victory against NC State, and the Oregon vs Boise game being low scoring as well.  Add the fact that the public loves to bet the over on Nationally televised games, (and this is the first of the year) the total is set a bit higher to protect the books.

No, hurricane it too far east, and north.  No rain expected for tonight's game.  For some reason no one has mentioned the players SC is suspending for this game.  I think the number is 5 total, which should push things even more toward SMiss. 

Oddly, these are expected to be two game suspensions but Spurrier plans to sit them for tonight's game and the one against Furman, but play them next week against Georgia.  Way to teach them a lesson coach, and you wonder why kids don't respect the rules!   He isn't the only coach to do this, it happens all across the country with "internal discipline".  Fans need to make the coaches clean their act up, the pressure to win is getting way out of hand.
