The spread is like this because louie will not allow Rutgers to score more than 25. But, they also will not win!!

This is a tough game to cap.  Marshall won @L'ville and yet lost a few weeks earlier to Ohio 44-7.  I believe this is Tr Fr QB Nova's 1st road game as a starter?  That may have a lot to do with this line.

As for offense, Rutgers are averaging 26.8 points per game, which is 7 points higher than the 2010 team. All the while, Louisville is averaging 15.4 points per game, which is 11 points less than what they averaged last year..,. Rutgers point differential is +7.6 per game while louisville's is - 4, which is 76th in the country. I think vegas is putting alot of stock in this being a home game under the friday night lights... i dont know... louisville is 1-2 at home, 3 game losing streak...lost 4of L 5... not stellar by any means. Rutgers on 4 game winnning streak... Cmon, louisville lost to "Marshall"?? at home as 11 point favs....

Now for defense, rutgers are ranked 17th in scoring defense which is 9 points per game better than last years team, louisville is right there however ranking 19th in the league. Louisville did give up 25 last week, 6 points more than their average... i think it will be a relativley low scoring game here but I have to take the over being that its at 41 41.5

Looks like a lot of confusion on this line and line move.. It is pretty simple Rut. comes out at a -1 fav on the road and the sharps pound Louisville all the way to -2, then the public money rolls in on Rut and has driven it right back and even to -2 on the other side.  So the real question is why are the sharps pounding Louisville??  Ans Turnover Margin.. Why has Rutgers been covering and wining Turnovers they are +13 on the season!!  louisville is -1... Sharps are playing the law of averages and the fact the Louisville does not put the ball on the carpet!!  they have only fumbled 3 times all yr and lost only 1 of them after the debacle in there home opener..  Rutgers has been getting all the bounces and that luck will run out .. why did they struggle last week and not cover... they didn't get the +2-3 turnovers they have been getting in prior games.. I see a lot of people comparing the 2 NC games well Rutgurs played them close right... not really NC turned the ball over 5 TIMES and still won by 2!!!  that could easily have been 14-24 pt victory by NC..  against Louisville they only turned it over once and and only won by a TD..  Bottom line Louisville takes care of the ball is fired up in front of the home crowed and Rut. struggles again this week.  Louisville has the superior D and just enough offense to pull out a victory!!

If Louisville plays the whole game like they played the 1st half against the Bearcats, they will win and cover at home...IF...GLTA
