I'm liking Oklahoma State in this one.  Texas did everything they could to piss the game away at Lubbock last week, and they still almost ended up winning.  Oklahoma State played Texas in Austin a couple of weeks ago, and came within 4 of winning.  I think both teams match-up pretty good, but give a slight edge to Ok. St. with their running game and defense.  Plus, Ok. St. is perfect ATS this year, while Tech hasn't been as fortunate (good, but definitely not perfect).

Could also be a let down spot for tech after big win. Ok state playing great football and could be primed to pull off the upset here. Very tough game to call at this point. Hard to go against tt at this point, but my early lean is on okie st. More research on this one is needed.

TT O line is too strong.  Reed man handled Rak - from UT whos a top NFL prospect.  Expect the same this week.  Take a look at the replay of TTU UT game before playing it.  They out rushed, passed, out sacked, and basically out played UT.  UT brought their A game, Tech was just a little better.

Wow, did the line really drop from -13 to -3, or is that a typo?  I told myself last week that I'd jump all over OK St. if Tech beat Texas because of a let down game, but at -3, all they really need to do is win.  I dunno, this Tech team is different from years past.  They have what it takes.

This is a great spot for Oklahoma St. to pull out the win... after a huge an emotional win for TT last week.  Oklahoma State has to be licking their chops for another chance at a #1 or #2 team and their going to get another shot.  I like Oklahoma State in this game.  But we'll see what happens with the line through the week.  Sharp

Leaning OKIE STATE here, they are more physical and have a three headed monster in their ruuning game. Also, an amazing receiver iin Dez Bryant, he's a beast! not to mention Zach Robinson is a very mobile qb who will be a dual threat to Tex Tech. I just think Tex Tech is not gonna be able to put two physical football games together back to back. BOL everyone!

I have to disagree with that statement. Texas did not bring their "A" game. Did you see how many dropped passes they had. Anyone of those could've been a game changing momentum, play. Especially the one that Shipley dropped, which would have been a 40+yd TD.

But I do agree, Tech played their "A" game, and would probably win it at the end, regardless of the Longhorns play.

I have to agree with Warblade here.  Tech brought their A+++++ game, and I don't see them repeating it this weekend.  It was a once in a generation win for Tech, and had to rely on a fluke play with :01 left to even secure that.  Texas brought their "A" game, but, unfortunately, didn't let it out of the box until midway through the 2Q.  By that time, Tech was already up 19-0.  From that point on, Texas held the advantage.  The Longhorns outscored TTech, 33-20, from that point.

Ok. St. traveled to Austin a couple weeks back and nearly pulled off the upset, signaling to me that they are probably on par with Texas on a neutral site.  They held Texas - IN AUSTIN - to 28pts, which is Texas' LOWEST offensive production of the year.

Tech dropped several passes too including one on their second drive in the end zone which should have made it 9-0 instead of 5-0.  Look guys, Give credit where its due. 
 
Why hasnt anyone disputed how Tech O line OWNED UTs D line.  I love games like this because I make money no matter who wins!! Keep betting guys...

BookiesALWYSwin - I took TT last week and even said it could be decided by a field goal, and it almost did.  I won't say Texas is overrated, but there have been little things that I knew would come back to bite them - including their running game.  Their defense has been above-average, and holding Tech to 32pts with a couple seconds to go in that environment was a phenomenal feat, IMO.  Tech has held every one of their opponents below their season average, so their defense isn't all that bad, either.

However, TT also showed me they are very beatable.  Ok. St.'s defense is similar to UT's.  I give UT's defense the edge in rushing and Ok. St's the edge in the secondary.  To contain Tech's offense, a good secondary (and pass rush) are more important than a good rush defense.

Should be another good game, but I'm not convinced Tech can pull off another Top-10 win.  They have OU coming up (granted, not for another two weeks), too, so may even be looking a little ahead.

I'm gonna roll with the Red Raiders.  Whether or not Texas brought their A-game, I don't know.  What I do know is that Texas Tech outgained Texas by over 200 yards, had 31 first downs, and held the ball for 37 minutes.  The scoreboard didn't do justice to the way Texas got manhandled.  I'd be worried about a letdown spot if Texas Tech wasn't playing at home.  Many people thought Texas would have a letdown against Mizzou at home after the OU game ...

I would have to go with Okie St. in this match up.  They are a very very good team that played Texas to the wire in Austin.  As for the Tech/Texas game the Red Raiders dominated all aspects of the game and still should have lost if an interception doesnt slip through the safety's hands.  Texas gave them every opportunity to close the game out being up by 19 pts twice, and Tech failed to do so.  Shows me Texas has some real weapons to out-gun the red raiders and erase a 19pt deficit that the Heisman Leader can't seem to build on.  Or Tech isn't that good!  Texas --- worst game of the year by far,  Tech---- best game of the year by far....Texas should have won!  So based on the two head to heads with Texas, OSU gets the edge for their performance.
 
Tech played a great game and there line was very dominant.  I still question several plays where there was obvious holding on several defenders (yea check out the play where Orakpo got hurt), so I question how good their line is when the "holds" dont go under the radar. 
 
Point is Tech is a good Top 8 team in the nation, not a #2 and OSU is Right there in the top 10.  I like OSU to win outright behind a solid running game that eats up the clock.

OKLA ST lean here, just wish the game was in Stillwater, but it's not so. I am thinking I will let the favorite be bet up and then take the pts and possible ML play. OKLA ST is for real folks, a very good football team that has given up only 108 pts overall all year and has a better offense than almost every team in the country. They are physical and can bring it to TT. TT could very easily let down in this situation. If not here, you can bet it will be next week against OKLA.

no let down if your prize is the BCS Championships!!!  so many waiting in the wings like USC, Fl, Penn St., TX, OKL etc.  one slip and your season is down the tubes.  you gotta keep winning.  didn't happen last year as no. 1 and 2s kept losing down the stretch but I think this year no.  some mighty good teams are gonna be left out.

yep folks, no emotional letdown or any of that bullshit. these guys know whats at stake but i do believe okie st will be ready...texas tech has the momentum though and lets keep cashin with em.

hmm 41-35 tech....yea that sounds about right.

Maybe not a let down, but not realizing they are in the moment until they look at the scoreboard and realize its 21-0 early in the 2nd Quarter! OKIE STATE can do that!

Like Ok State here.  Better defense than Texas had, and TT will have something of a letdown after that great game with Texas.  OSU has some good playmakers too, and the QB can beat you with his feet and arm.  Another high scoring game that should be entertaining.  OSU  strikes me as being a little better, and they shoul be the fresher team.  Two unit play on OSU with a look at an OVER on the total.

gotta go with Tech here. everything is said already. Tech passing attack is sick. They won't lose this game. Their D against the Run is awesome. Go Red Raiders

Phancard - Just an observation, but Tech's D against the run is so awesome because most teams have fallen terribly behind and have used the pass to try and catch-up.  Granted they held Texas' run in check, but Texas' best runner all year has been McCoy (and Texas had to play catch-up in that game as well).  Good defense, but this particular stat can be a little misleading, IMO.

Tech's QB's have led the nation in passing yards-regardless of who that QB was-for the last 7 years.  The fact that they "outgain" almost every opponent (except OU) they play is irrelevent, IMO.  All that yardage hasn't given them big time success yet and likely won't this year either.  Sure they beat the #1 team but they did it because Texas uses the short passing game like a running game and TT was dropping 6,7,even 8 into zone pass coverage.  OSU and OU both have running games that can carve up that kind of zone defense mentality for Tech.  I also don't think the officiating will be near as terrible this week as it was in the UT/TTU game.  As was stated above, the zebras missed a ton of holding calls on the Tech o-line and a blatant block in the back on Shipley's punt return for TD, just to name a few.  I'm taking OSU with the points......
