I see the majority is playing Hawaii.....
Everyone thinks ND took this bowl for the free vaca.
It's hard for me to believe Weiss won't have the TEAM ready.
He knows what will happen if ND loses this bowl w/ a 6 and 6 record. GO FIGHTING IRISH!!!!!!

I'm all over Notre Dame in this game. I was watching the Cincy-Hawaii game a few weeks ago & Hawaii had a 14 pt lead late
in the 3RD Qtr & COMPLETELY CHOKED the game away against a Cincy team that was half ass at best that night.
The Hawaii QB with the beard, his name escapes me at this time, looks like he's 40 years old & he played like he a 50 year old QB, that game against Cincy. From the 3RD Qtr on, he couldn't move out of the pocket & when Cincy pressured him, he couldn't handle it.
That's why  I like ND in this game. Also, Charlie Weis is calling the plays in this game, NOT his offense coordinator.
Also, just because Hawaii is playing in their own bowl game, doesn't mean anything. This Hawaii team is NOT nearly as good as the other Hawaii teams that have played in this bowl game in the past.
Final score : Notre Dame 28  Hawaii  17

When is Weiss ever ready? They have nothing to play for at all Notre Dame loses Weiss is still coaching and the AD said as much. I don't think I would bet on Notre Dame on the road as a favorite against anyone in college football? Weiss is calling the plays is not necessarily a good thing? He gained 90 yards vs. USC and was awful vs. Syracuse. Weiss called plays against the defensive genius Greg Robinson and couldn't win. Give me the points.

Please tell me why the line shifted from -2.5 Hawaii to -2.5 Notre Dame (a 5 point swing)?
 
And why is everyone so strong on Hawaii when ND has a much tougher schedule, and both teams have the same stats and similar records?
 
These 2 answers provide the truth.  Thoughts Everyone?

charlie called the plays in the USC game and they did not get a first down until late in the third period, he called the plays in the other two games they lost, and navy almost came back and beat them with him calling the plays, they were 6-3 when mike haywood was calling the plays, once charlie took over the play calling things went south....i don;t blame mike for taking the miami of ohio coaching job, .... so i don;t think charlie calling the plays is a plus..and in that USC game it may have even been in the 4th period, i think the final was something like 38-3 USC.........

Public money on Notre Dame much as the Yankees and Cowboys get heavy action so do the Irish. But keep in mind there was a reason the line was set at -2.5 Hawaii and the smart money will take the points at Hawaii +2.5. I just like the home team as the underdog playing against a 6-6 team. Notre Dame closed out their season losing 5 of their last 7. Including the Syracuse loss which stripped this team of any fight they may have had left. 90 yards of offense the following week and they were swimming in the ocean yesterday. Highly motivated indeed.

Seeing how everybody and their Mom is on the Over, I am going to play the Under 49 and ND -2.5. I have seen this type of line movement before and I am definately taking ND and laying the chalk! They will pressure HW QB all night!

Hilarious. I know I am new here but this guy makes just  7 posts in over a year and he's trying to tell us why line has shifted. This is a sure sign of a tout trying to get equal action. If ND wins this game as I think they will the books get burned here. Smart money already took ND +2.5 and the public followed. This game is a LOCK! You don't need points and you can afford to give at least 7. Don't be afriad to take ND here....DONT DOUBT YOURSELF!

Aimlow is that an elk or deer buck? ND is a bad football team, that is a fact. Hawaii and the over because few teams travel well to the islands. Merry Christmas and lets make some bucks.

Probably the first time we talked all year.  Hope all is well in Maui.  Oahu has some great weather for todays game.  Not a cloud in the sky and sunny.  When i was at the airport this morning it was a cold 69degrees.  Should make for perfect game conditions.

Hawaii this year at home during the first half have been   They are monsters in the first half and the defense is at there best.  Second half has been when they start to let up.  But let me tell you the stadium will be close to sold out.  We know how good hawaii is during a full stadium.  It will be intense and I see hawaii coming out strong.
