I'm so pissed!!!!! I missed the call in to my local, friendly, neighborhood book!!!!!  Work was pulling me in ten different directions today and I lost track of time.........I NEVER DO THAT!!!!!  I would have taken NC St. and NWestern with the over in the State game and the Under in the NWstern game.  Two str8 bets on the dogs in even amounts and a three teamer with the State and the over and under. 
 
Now I hope I lose them all so I feel better about being a dink!!!   Then again, I hope all of you that played these picks win.......that's more important than me feeling better about being a peen!!  What a screwed up shitty day!!!  I need to open an account........

I was really liking the over, but my guy bumped it all the way to 69...man thats a lot of points. May tease it to 75 and go under with NW +19.

Wasnt this MIZZ team one of the most "feared" teams in all of NCAA?
 
Wasnt this the same team who had the heisman favorite?
 
WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS TEAM?!?!?
 
They lost that 1 game to Okie St, and havent really recovered.....I think this MIZZ team is too talented to be in this bowl game.....THEY HAVE THE BEST ARIEL ATTACK IN THE NATION (IMHO)
 
Do you guys remember when this team thrived off of not dropping passes in practice?

I think NW is the play. They beat Iowa who beat Penn St. Something to be said about that.

Mizzu was ranked #1, way more explosive.
NW will come to play, but think Mizzu want to run this one up.
NW good qb and RB

giving the 13 here, game is tough
hoping Mizzu scores early to destroy NW's will

Northwestern will cover here and may win the game outright. They have a nice balanced attack and a good defence. Never bet a team with a horrible defence like Mizzu to cover double digit spreads especially in bowl games. You take N.W. here or leave the game alone. Believe me I don't think I am a better capper than anyone else, I just do my handicapping and play my money smart and Mizzu aint getting my hard earned bucks tonight
 
Vegas continues to take sucker money on Mizzu by dropping the spread even though money pours in on Mizzu. Classic trap game here.
 
Take the the POINTS and Northwestern.

After reading this thread, I must play Northwestern to cover...Too much dead wood on Mizzou...Repeat of the Rutgers game (which I fell into) the public is like the cows that get slaughtered...
Only fear I have is has any coach on NW ever see the spread?

 2-team teaser  Missouri -7 and Under 46.5 in the Boston College/Vanderbilt game.  I have a teaser also with N.Western.  And I have a 4-team parlay with Missouri -12.  Great start to the week for me.  Rutgers couldn't cover against a 3rd string QB... imagine if Russell would have played the entire game, that would have been a blow out.   Sharp

Sharp, I agree...NC State was dominating that game...lucky the 3rd string QB was better than the 2ns string QB. We got lucky after he threw that late pick. Good Luck on your teaser!

Another thing to note for NW...take a glance at the "Public Money" link on the scoreboard page...Missouri ranks # 3 on the list, while Northwestern ranks # 47...Vegas knows that the public will once again overvalue the Tigers and will fall into the trap

Only two DEF's in the country give up more passing yards the Mizzou. This DEF is terrible becareful taking them in this matchup. They have a lot of weapons and should win this game but it will be close. BOL!

Scuttlebut round these parts says Mizz is seriouus about this game and coaches have really pushed their D. Northwestern hasn't played a game in 5 weeks vs Mizz 3 weeks. That makes me think Mizz first half as NW takes a while to get anything going, while Chase/Macklin come out throwin....Mizz 1st half
