I can't see the score being this much of a blowout. Kent creates alot of turnovers and if they can stop the run which they have done all year the score will alot closer than you would think. I think NI will win, but I'm not sure they will cover nearly a TD. NI beat Toledo by only a TD at home a few weeks ago.

Did Kent State play a harder schedule than NIU? They did knock off a ranked team Rutgers whom at the time was undefeated. But Rutgers isn't that good, they would have been below average in the big ten this year, the conference they are going to. In the MAC NIU's division has slightly better teams, so really their schedules were pretty similar. Kent St giving up 23.5 points a game and NIU averaging 40.5 points to about 35 points for the NIU Huskies. I don't see Kent State keeping up, Ill take NIU and the points.

Kent State sure did a great job stopping the Ohio running game last week. What did Blankenship have like a 145 yards. Northern Iliniois should win this game by double digits. Hard to commit to stopping the run when one of the best QB's in the nation in Lynch is waiting to chop you up.

Interesting scenario - I read an article today (sorry but I forget where) stating that the payout for a MAC team that made a BCS game would be about $8,000,000 to the conference. That's $500,000 for each MAC school which is pretty significant since the average school budget for sports is $20 million (again this was from the article). I'm not saying that NIU is going to roll over in this game but there is virtually no way they will jump from #21 to a BCS game. On the other hand if Kent can win this game there is a pretty good chance they could get into a BCS game.
I bet and watch a ton of college games and I'll argue with anyone that there are indeed games that are fixed. Just look back a few weeks ago to the Idaho/BYU game. I'm not saying this game will be fixed but with 79% of the experts on Kent I think they are the team to bet tonight. I do not bet the money line on college but I think everything points to a Kent straight up win.

When u match these teams up. NIU is just better. Yes Kent has a great run D. But NIU's is almost as good, and their pass D is better than Kents. Which i believe will be a major difference. NIU has a better QB and better overall offense. They beat them 40-10 last year. I would say they win by three tds here!!! NIU PLAY OF WEEK (got 3x my large bet on it)
