Can't wait to see the look on your face when the bank teller looks at your 24-point voucher when you try to cash it. It's gonna be worthless. PS will cover this in the first half. They haven't beaten Michigan in over ten years, and there is blood in the water.

And by the way.. No one has won this game by more than 7 points since 01' and PSU hasnt won by more than a TD since 96.. Add in the fact that PSU has Ohio St next week so I dont think the starters will be in during the 4th quarter if they have a 30 pt lead so that leaves open a big backdoor cover opportunity..

I just don't see my Nittany Lions covering the large number against a team they traditionally have problems with. Yes I think they win the game but Michigan plays this one tough enough to get the cover. Mich is 4-0 ATS last 4 at PSU. Again Jo Pa will be shuffling players in and out in this homecoming tilt.

The only travel that Michigan had so far this year was to my home town to see my very average Irish.........They fell apart in that game on the road........they have played every other game at home this year.......and not very well I might add.........Penn St. will do the same thing to Threet(freshman QB) that they did to Jimmy Clausen last year.......sack him 6+ times and hang more than 40 on Michigan. This Penn St team is for real.......Joe Pa could die tomorrow and it wouldn't derail them from winning the Big 10..........and don't forget that Michigan has beat this team 9 times in a row!!!! I can't wait to watch the look on Rich Rod's face in the middle of the third quarter of this embarressment........he might start calling Auburn and Tenn by the end of the game to see if they will be looking for a new coach next year...........and his sleezy ass will put his name in the hat, that you can bet on!

Snowjocky -- don't be askeered, most of this list is very old news. All the "out for season" guys have been off the team for months. Both our TEs are dinged up but both might play. They were hurt last week too and look at the result. There really is nothing new on this list. In fact they missed one, Bradon Carter, a backup RB who plays mostly special teams, is out for the year with a torn ACL.
The Lions are healthy and ready to roar. Trust me, this is not a letdown week.
BigDaddy, hope your wife is doing better my friend. My book does not offer a first half line but if it is around 14 I would take it. i would take it regardless!
Michigan was getting beat by Wisonsin 19-0 at halftime a few weeks ago until their defense came back to steal it with the help of a pick-6. Penn State was up 38-7 midway thru the 3rd quarter before they cooled their jets with 2nd teamers v. Wisky.
Check out the team stats, head-to-head. Average offensive team rank: PSU #27, MI # 119. Average defensive team rank: PSU #32, MI # 71.
Where it counts, points scored rankings: Offense, points scored: PSU #8, MI #202. Defense, points allowed: PSU #6, MI #118.

One more note -- as for a backdoor cover, I expect Penn State and Tom Bradley (def coord) to REALLY want a shutout. Michigan currently holds the longest streak in the nation for games played without being shut out. Last time was 1984. What better way to put an exclamation point on a team that you have not beaten in over ten years. I seriously doubt Michigan scores into double digits.

Final point -- am I a homer? Yes I am a homer. I will be at the game, my one game a year as I live out of state. But I did not pick PS every week this year, and would not encourage others to do so just because of my passion. This game is not a lock -- none of them are -- but picking PS is a good bet in this spot.
