why are we still referring to this type of "trend" or "stats"...Look at mizzu vs neb..mizzu have never won at neb and blew them out..Mich never lost to a MAC team and toledo stuck it up their asses..these trends do not affect this college football season. you have to look at the current team at the current time and stop going back 5, 10, or 15 years ago.

As an OHIO STATE man and true Michigan hater it pains me to say that Michigan will cover. As bad as they are (And it's a beautiful thing), this is still a Big 10 matchup and 24.5 points is absolutely insane. Take the  and run. They still have SOME pride up there.(Not much, but some)

Danstyk, couldn't have said it better myself.  No white out on Saturday, but don't think they'll need it.  Remember PSU needs to thump teams to keep their ranking and keep the votes.  Especially with Michigan at home.  PSU has been shafted by officiating the past few games against the Wolves and suspect that Joe will make sure the zebras can't screw this one up.

Now I really don't follow these teams that closely but I gotta believe we've got two teams here at the extremes of public perception...and I'm speculating a return to the mean (as such) might be possible here....esp. with PSU's huge game next week.   25 in a tremendous rivalry game sounds enticing to me esp. after last weeks diametrically opposite performances.  Not betting da house but an interesting speculation nonetheless.

Big admirer of Joe Papa  btw. (not so much on Rodg...ha.)
