I watched a majority of that Louisville/Kentucky game and the thing that stuck out most to me was that despite the Cardinals inability to get anything started on offense, their defense played a pretty solid game. Cantwell has obviously not yet proven himself to be a quality replacement for Brohm, but if there was ever a chance, this could be it. Kansas State has played absolutely nobody this year, and crushed both teams they played. I put absolutely no stock into that whatsoever. Just looking at the talent that is on the field, the Wildcats should be able to win this game. They have a very quick and experienced defense, and should be able to put enough pressure on Cantwell to force some turnovers much like Kentucky did. Only reason I am staying away from the spread in this one is the fact that the Cardinals are at home, K-State hasn't played a legitimate opponent yet, it's a nationally televised game, and Kragthorpe knows his job is on the line with every passing game.
