I was watching that nice you tube clip that you posted , & it seems to me , that Coach Jones & a few other Hawaii players that were interview , seem VERY NERVOUS about playing the MIGHTY SPARTANS !!  I'm STILL sticking with MY SPARTANS & the score,

Hey Dont you know that you cant knock hawaii they dont make their schedule. i know alot of good teams didnt want to play them this season. I remember they beat a good arizona st team last year that is undefeated this year and is ranked higher than them. Yeah they are 1-3 in conference play ats. But you cant stop their O. Their D is Questionable at times...But the coordinator got them going this week..I think hawaii at the half and the over....

P.S. - WE ( San Jose State ) came with in an eye lash of beating the ONLY UNBEATEN team last year in college football, YES , Boise State . We lost the game 23 - 20. WE lead Boise by 10 points with 7 minutes to go in the game. To tell you the truth , even though we lost to Boise State ( the best team in college football last year ) I was VERY VERY PROUD the way my MIGHTY SPARTANS PLAYED !! .Last year , AH DO BELIEVE ........Hawaii LOST to Boise State & allowed Boise State to score over 40 points ..............Good defense pal !!

Everybody, are you not seeing a trend on weeknight college football?  I am almost a 100% on this so far.  Take a look at what the consensus is on this website, I know it isn't vegas and all bets, but It gives you a pretty good idea of what the general public wants to take, and then watch the line moves.  Example Pitt Navy, 55% were on Pitt and the line came down on game day in favor of Pitt?  I took Navy and won.  Now the same thing happened with Wake Forest tonight, Line moved in FSU favor with consensus on FSU, still waiting for game to finish but took Wake.  Now for Hawaii, general public likes Hawaii and line is moving in Hawaii favor?  I know Hawaii is a great football team, but no cover here for Hawaii.

Hawaii wins HUGE!  No doubt about it..the defense is back to full strength...people tend to forget that they sat out starters from last weeks game and coach told Colt to sit...why risk injury when its an easy win...They are gonna light the scoreboard up on National TV..Coach Jones has this team prepared and will not disappoint under the friday night lights...Craig James (espn analyst) get ready to eat your words!!!!

best bet here is to take a vow of celebacy and abstain from this game, actually go out and get laid rather than f around with these funky hawaii lines, they are always whack, there is rarely value in laying the points after hawaii lands on the main land and the spread at home is usually more than compensatory, no value here again this week.

my early lean was on Sjst, when it opened +17.5, anything over 17 sounded good to me, i still think it will win but am not willing to put my money where my mouth is here, and everyone should consider doing the same

consider this when you are betting:
bet in units that give you value, for example
a 54 dollar bet @ -110 holds a vig of $5 (so rish 59 to win 54) (10% of 54 is 5.4 so it should a risk of $59.4, that would be a true 10% vig, while the rounded down vig is $.40 lower and therefore better odds, work the math with me here, its worth your while
 
meanwhile the same vig is conceded on a $45 bet, where you risk $50 becaue a true 10% vig is actually risking $45+$4.50=$49.50 but it is rounded up to $50 for the obvious reasons and therefore carries a added 1% (-111)
 
it goes to reason that your units should be in incriments of $14, $24, $34, $44, $54, etc. (here are your best odds -109.3) 
and never $15, $25, $35, $45 (here your odds are -111)

The week before Hawaii plays Utah St. w/ a 40pt spread.  Of course, we can't cover.  Hawaii wins 52 - 37. 
 
SJSU plays the same Utah St earlier, and the spread is 2points.  SJSU wins 23 - 20 with a go-ahead TD w/ 53 sec's left.
 
Covers runs a story the day before the game claiming Colt Brennan will not play.  Covers also claims that Hawaii's defense struggled against Idaho and Utah St.  Both claims are NOT TRUE.
 
Colt Brennan will start the SJSU game.  It is ESPN with Tostitos Bowl officials and NFL scouts in attendance.  Do you think they showed up to view the Spartans?
 
I advised against betting the Hawaii/Utah St. game.  40 points was ridiculous.  Hawaii does not play it's games based on Vegas spreads.  Idaho and Utah St. were meaningless wins which were sealed in the first half.  The scores in those two games does not reflect a weak defense.
 
What is the spread?  All the houses still list 18.5.  Why does the NCAAF matchup say 17points?

Okay.  This is good.  Every house is at 17.5 now.  I have never seen this happen to Hawaii before.  Consensus betting is 64% for Hawaii.  Covers staff is in favor of SJSU 5 to 6.

All's quiet on the usual reliable sources for Hawaii.  Stephen Tsai of the Star Bulletin travels w/ the team and gave glowing, carnival reports of today's activities as of 2:30pm.

I don't know what you guys are smoking.  Colt starts.  He plays most of the game with NFL and Tostitos bowl scouts in attendance.

If your are alarmed, wait till the last minute.  The line is dropping.  You will know if something is fishy just before the game.

You are basically saying that SJSU's defense will stop Hawaii from scoring their average 38 plus points per game. Hawaii's defense will not stop SJSU's offense from scoring.Wow!!!!!
