17.5?  Now that's a point spread I like. 

Dick Tomey is a good defensive coach, but there is no stopping Hawaii's offense.  Brennan is still limping on that ankle, but his back-up is still better than most NCAA QB's.

It's a Friday night game for the East Coast veiwers.  Have fun.

I dont see Brennan missing this game on a national stage. I see him standing in the pocket and tossing darts all night. Gotta go with the Warriors

I like Hawaii in this one but still waiting to see what line the local gives.
 
Last game our damn local juiced up the 1st half line to 27.5 so I stayed away.

When Brennan was removed from the game, was he hit again on the ankle? Or was this just a precaution? I couldn't tell if the injury was re-aggravated or just the way the game was going.

how did they go from giving a weak team 40 to giving 17 to a less weaker team? Hawaii doesnt cover like last week's 1st half and whole game NO cover.. Overratted spreads to a overatted team..SAVE YOUR MONEY.. Hawaii is never a sure thing .. Always getting outrageous spreads... Colt is hurt and is not gettign better

To those that live in hawaii pleese stop making this team look better then it really is.. Get off the island you all have island fever you need some main land box..I know this team is all you guys got in Hawaii but they arent as good as you guys make them out to be..

I am going to take the points here, not sold on Hawaii, but I like Colt when he is healthy.

don't need the negative comments, no one is going into the chargers forum and busting on a 2-3 team. to each his own.

now now chargersLTMVP this is what starts everything.I try to maintain myself but don't push.  San Diego got lucky try the next game.  Any way  just to get it straight Hawaii has the most beautiful girls in the world, if you need pussey maybe you should go to the humane society.

1.  Hawaii is better than we make them out to be.
 
2.  We get plenty of mainland box.  They're called tourists.
 
3.  I'm sorry you're So. Cal. teams aren't so hot this year, but don't take it out on us.  Go Berkely!!!

1rst, a Hawaii O-lineman stepped on Colt's bad ankle during a successful goal line score.  2nd, Colt took a high-low hit in the 2nd quarter.  The trainer retaped Colt's ankle, but the back-up QB just threw a long strike, so coach decided to rest Colt and let it ride.  Back-up Tyler Graunke was done early in the 4th.
 
A lot of 3rd and 4th string players have seen playtime for Hawaii this year.  Hawaii dominated Utah St., and back-ups clocked valuable playing time.
 
The 40pt line last week was ridiculous.  I'm more than happy with the 20 pt line.  Coach Tomey is very well respected in Hawaii.  June Jones won't take his former mentor lightly. 
 
Still no word on the total yet.

Appreciate the info Warrior...I wasn't able to see the game so I wasn't sure why Brennan was out of the game. Sounds like a rough one for his ankle. Glad to hear he's practicing at least.

Bad mouthing the Warriors huh? Lol, keep talking, meanwhile, Colt and the boys are humbly representing a program that is always underated. Don't see the point in attacking the credibility of Hawaii football, we never claim to be the best just wanna compete, What's your problem anyway...? Half this forum is from Hawaii including some of the top cappers. Maybe you need to eat some humble haupia-pie to help you realize this team is 4-real. Don't take my word for it, our record speaks for itself. GO WARRIORS:)

Is this the type of game that Brennan might be taken out of in the second half? or do you think his quote about giving it his all with the bye week will hold true?  teetering between the half (-10) and the final since I don't see a total yet.

Colt will start and most likely sit in the 2nd half. Big-D will have better info 4-sho. In my opinion the half is a stronger play but I'll wait and see what the other Hawaii people think.

In addition to Colt being ready to start my classmate @ UH Defensive right tackle Michael Lafaele also is poised to play. Lafaele was held out Saturday because of a strained hamstring that caused pain in the back of his right knee. He also has a fracture in his right hand and a strained left calf. Lafaele will have a huge effect on the D as well as Saftey and good friend of mine Dane Porlas who is expected to start against SanJose replacing Desmond Thomas in the Warrriors Nickle package.
