I may be missing something too, but I think FSU +9 is an awesome bet!

Then again I thought OU -34 vs. Utah St was an awesome pick too !

However, my co-worker who is a die-hard Sooner fan, keeps talking about how FSU +9 is a killer bet and this guy NEVER bets on CFB or sports period.

I have to agree; Ponder is a better QB than Jones and I feel like OU's secondary is going to have a very difficult time containing this Florida St. Team.

I am making FSU +9 my POD (4 units) and I also like Bowling Green +16.5 at Tulsa.  These will be my only two plays! BOL Gents

I got FSU already at +8.....it makes me wonder.....OU really kill them?  After their last performance?? 

who knows.....but at least I got 8 to play with!

OU fan here. I've seen basically every ou game other than those on pay per view since 1995.  been watching ou in general since only 1981.   

I can ASSURE u that last week v utah st (I was at the game) was teh worst that ou has played in a home opener during the Stoops era when everyone was healthy. 

Take FSU + 7.5.     overall this game is a tossup, but if ou wins...it won't be by much.  there is no way in hell i would bet on ou to cover against FSU at this point.  and don't believe that bs about ou's record at home.  it's overated if the team is playing bad

Last pick was Oregon State +13.5 to cover against an over-hyped TCU. Thankfully I did not take the Beavers on the ML and ended the first weekend 2 and oh.

Underdogs have a natural appeal and provide good value. In week 2, from what I have read, the best choice on the board appears to be Florida State at Oklahoma. Last week, the Utah State Aggie’s had 400+ yards of offense against the Sooners, perceived to be the #7 team in the nation. This not one of the good ol’ Oklahoma teams where a visitor like USU would have suffered a public wedgie, like the one Oregon just delivered to New Mexico. Instead it was the Sooners who were cleaning the brown stains out of their shorts after nervously escaping humiliation in their home stadium. This Sooner defense has fundamental problems that aren’t the result of looking ahead to FSU, nor can they be solved in a week.

The Seminoles have a senior QB and a good OL. If Oklahoma couldn’t beat Utah State by more than a touchdown, I’ll take my chances with the points and the Seminoles.
