Cincinnati at North Carolina State (09/16/2010)

Cincinnati Bearcats +1.5 @ NC State Wolfpack:

I won some money on NC State last week, although the ending was a tight one.. the Bearcats did lose to Fresno during the opening weekend, but I think that Fresno is better then people realize.. I think NC State will have trouble with the receivers of Cincinnati, especially if the Bearcats can get a run game going.. The Bearcats should be able to stop the NC State running game, and make NC State beat them with the pass..

0-7 ATS for Cincy, what are the odds of Cincy going 0-8 ATS.

Cincy +1.5 for me.

I agree with this position, games is too close to call either way.  I am only a small wager on NC State simply because it is a Thursday night game and the only action available.  Several better plays this weekend.

Going with the home team in a close contest but understand why others will take Cincy.  Minimum action bet:    1/2 unit on NC State at home.

Agree with this.  The only reason to play this game is to have some action on a Thursday night.  Much better games coming on Saturday.  I will make a minimal, 1/2 X play on NC State.  They are at home on Thursday and betting home teams in close games works best for me.

Cincy being 0'fer in their last 7 ATS is NOT a reason to go against them.

Don't forget that Isaiah Pead is still bothered by swelling in his knee and most likely will be a game time decision. I like the Wolfpack at home.

NC STATE -1

both teams havent played anyone worth while yet, so it makes this game very difficult to cap.  Collaros has played decent so far this year, and he did fill in nicely when pike went down a year ago too.  ill take cincy and the points +2.5, if you can get it at +3 even better.
