funny how people talk about hawaii playing with a weak schedule, and not giving them any respect. if i can recall, i believe i took ARIZONA STATE last december, when they played for the Aloha Bowl. i was celebrating after the first half coz hawaii only had a field goal against a PAC-10 team. man was i proven wrong after the second half...one touchdown after the other...I believe that was the reason why teams from the big 10 and big 12 realized who they were up against....but anywayz...i'll take boise with the points, since they know them well...hope hawaii wins though, with a late field goal...peace and gla....

wow, it seems like people are angry after giving their opinions. yes your opinions, not facts. anyway, i really like colt, but i don't think he's 100%. can someone from hawaii give me a local report on his health please? if he is looking really healthy and not bullshitting the reporters, i'd lean on the warriors. if he's 70% or lower, i'd go for the broncos (sorry UH fans!).
Colt is fine and is declared 100% healthy for this game. That is the reason why he didn't play against Nevada. The boyz here in hawaii are excited and can't wait to get on the field. As a friend to many on the football team, they promised me this is gonna be a game to be remembered.

Being new to this site, but a seasoned vet when it comes to college football, I find it interesting that the strength of schedule is the most talked about topic about Hawaii and this game...back in the day, it really wasn't an issue but with the BCS, it is a huge deal...bottom line is Hawaii is undefeated...no matter who they play...all the games I have seen (SJSU, Nevada, Fresno St), Hawaii seems to have beaten themselves resulting in close games...that being said, if Hawaii plays like they should, they are legitand should win ...on the flip side, I believe BSU is flat out better...thay are balanced offensively and will be ready to play...I believe BSU will out-right win...

Why is the right side of the "Y" thinner than the left? Noticed that for the first time last week and became curious. Thanks in advance, Fish

Homers, keep holdin' out for a better line. WSEX is offering Hawaii -2.5 for 115. Most of the other houses are offering -3 for 105.
There is a lot of 'experts' picking Boise St., broadcasting ninny stories about Hawaii, and writing whiny pieces about their favorite teams being denied a BCS birth by Hawaii.

MauiWarrior....I'm on Boise State but, hopefully the Warriors will pull out the win by 1 or 2.....I got Boise St. +3.
Hard to side with the Warriors on this one and until they beat Boise State (the monkey on the back) I'm gonna ride Boise since they got the Warriors number.
GL all playaz on dis game!

Be careful here Hawaii backers!! Chris Petersons' resume as a head coach at BSU is 23 - 1 SU 96% WINNER!!!!!! Only time I believe they have been dogs in that time they beat Oklahoma , absolutely crushed Utah, and embarrassed Nevada. All 3 games were away from the Blue turf. They step up for the challenge and play w/ hearts the size of a basketball.
My kids X-mas presents get a major upgrade courtesy of the BSU Broncos friday night!!! Going BIG!

June Jones vs Peterson in game coaching has me worried here but still think Hawaii can win this at home. Brennan has to play huge I think he will. Ian Johnson should be slowed down he is not playing as well as last year and Boise QB is a down grade from last year. Hawaii by 7 to 14 but they must play better in 2nd half then they have this year maybe 1st half is a better play

A second year college HC vs 10yr+ HC in college and pros? June Jones ain't no slouch. The one thing they have in common is they both won NCAA coach of the year in their first year at these universities.
That said. This will be a big win for us. As my boy, Sandys, said, that is one hell of a monkey on our back!!

Two great teams playing this Friday...boise st. is a good team but hawaii just has their number this year....i dont think everybody remembers but hawaiis achilles heal was one person and one person only "Jared Zabransky" . . Tharp aint even close to what zabransky is...thats why i think hawaii wins this year..dont get me wrong...boise is good...but hawaii is just a fracture of hair better...think back this whole season to close games on road...la tech....we always struggle against them....they know us all to well.....san jose st....weather kept that game closer than it appeared....hawaii receivers were slipping and falling all game long...and nevada....cold...tough environment with the altitude...and a back up qb....result was still a win...most of the games this season, brennan didnt really play in the second half...already blow outs..why risk any injury....plus all it did was give graunke more time to get a little bit more comfortable in game time situations....hence why june jones had confidence in him winning on the road in nevada where we lost our last 4....all i say is in a season of upsets....give some love to HAWAII as one of the ONLY two UNDEFEATED teams this year....we did ask to schedule tougher teams this year...wisconsin was in the works...alabama was also in the works....florida and usc were also...unfortunately things didnt play out that way...too bad we didnt get to test florida this year as we open at the swamp next year with a whole new set of receivers being that bess and grice-mullens will try to test the NFL...anyways...HAWAII wins....hopefully blowout just to show the world....WE BELONG! we the voices behind the face...of the HAWAIIAN nation the HAWAIIAN race....rise for justice the day has come...FOR ALL OUR PEOPLE TO STAND AS ONE! never said June Jones is a slouch just think Peterson makes better game decisions from what I have seen. Still can"t be worse then the Nevada hall of fame coach that let clock run down to call last two timeouts to ice the kicker LOL that was the worst

I can appreciate being a fan on this one, BigD and Maui Waui, but even you guys have to admit two things..
Boise is a more balanced team, better equipped to control the tempo of the game, they would be favored by 9 or 10 if in Boise, and,
There are approx. 20 teams around the country that could, and would, beat the Warriors 7 of 10 times they played.
I agree that teams duck them, but that doesn't make Hawaii better than those teams. It means those teams have their hands full with their conference schedules, and need to prepare for those games. That is not accomplished by playing a team that plays a constant 7 on 7 passing drill brand of offense. Especially early in the year.
They are fun to watch, and I like the team, to be perfectly honest. But until they change their brand of ball from a two hand touch kind of ball to at least something that resembles a balanced kind of game plan, teams will continue to say, "no thanks".
With that, I love the under tomorrow night. Boise will do all it can to limit the time Colt has the ball.
KEEP UP THE GREAT POSTS BIGD, AND HOPE EVERYONE HAD A FRUITFUL TURKEY DAY!

Yah but lucky for Chris Peterson he was given a good team to take over when Dan Hawkins left for Colorado St.

Sorry Hawaii fans, including myself but you have to know when a team out there is better than you.
Boise St. can score just as much as Hawaii but they have a more balanced offense. Hawaii doesn't defend the run very well cause they don't run as much as they should.
That gives Boise St. the advantage, they always practice against the run and a spread offense so they know how Hawaii will play. The reason why they won the last 5 championships is because they do the same as Hawaii does, but better. It's not luck that they won it 5 in a row. Once, twice maybe, but not 5. But hey you never know, it may be different this year because Zebransky is gone and so are the receiving core along with their running back. Gotta admit thought that they are still truly impressive with newer players.
If anything, I would tease Boise St. & the over with as much points as possible. Can't see Hawaii blowing out Boise St. even if they win and with my 12 point teaser, I can see it going over 63 easy. Just need to find 2 more teams or plays. New England and the Over just might solve that problem for me this week.
Gonna double up on my money with that teaser!
GL to all who play this game. If anything I might play the over. It might even go over in the 3rd quarter. Will post it later if it's a for sure pick for me.
Going 8-1 in my picks for NFL last few weeks. Hopefully I can do the same in CFB.
