, and should be in doubt until middle of the 4th Qtr, at least. Betting Boise with the 3+, or 4 points. Not sure why this line isn't the other way to be honest. Boise has the defense in a game where not scoring 80% of your possessions will cost you the game unless there is a major turnover imbalance.
Hawaii has the better motivation edges with a chance to win a title at home and avenging the last two losses where they were favored, but Boise has been in more big games and is hungry to get another BCS trip (not likely.) While the over looks attractive, I am staying away and betting on BSU's D coming to play. If I were going to bet the O/U I would go with the over for sure.
Broncos to roll and win by 7+.

Hawaii Rainbow Warriors -3 over Boise State
Hawaii is going to murder the Boise State Broncos in this one. I mean absolutely murder them. Colt Brennan is going to play as they specifially kept him out of that game last week so he'd be ready for Boise and although that move almost backfired on them, it didn't and here Hawaii is, playing for a chance to go to a BCS Bowl.
Boise State has had another fine season but they have struggled on the road this year. They lost to Washington, didn't cover against La. Tech but they did beat Fresno by 13. Throw the 52 point win at Utah State out the window, the Aggies are horrible.
Hawaii is far better and far faster then Boise State and they should be able to control the tempo and win this game without much of a problem. Hawaii's offense, with Brennan looking for a couple Collegiate Passing Records, should throw a ton of points up. Teams usually struggle on the road at Hawaii and with this being a Holiday weekend I have to figure Boise State had some tough travels getting out there for this one.
Hawaii is the better team and they have more in their favor in this one. They win by 21 minimum.

One more thing...
Could (#13) 10-0 Hawaii beat (#10) 8-2 Ore without Dixon? Helllllll yesssss.
Put that in your pipe, and smoke it...deluded pollsters.
Against a Leag brother......maybe.....maybe....maybe even probably.......against a healthy Denis Dixon......no way.......Not!!

I meant a Leaf brother.........but I will say this......The Warriors can play serious ball against anybody on the island. The struggle much more on the road on the mainland. I know they will play great in this matchup tonight!!!! I also feel that Boise has something to prove.........so, when confronted with two teams that you also root for and usually bet on.......and you don't know who to root for......root for everybody!!!!!! Take the over.........this is gonna be a bonfide shootout!!!!! And I believe one of the most entertaining games of the year.
Good luck to the "Island boys" ........you could be totally vindicated of the schedule bitching...........just do what you do 90% of the time someone steps on your field and you will have the last lasugh!
My book has the Over at 76.....and I will be all over it.......enjoy the day fellas!!

I have much respect for all my brothers from Hawaii.....but you guys are prognosticating with your heart. Big ups to Hawaii for making it this far undefeated....but it ends tonight. As I Fresno St. alumni......i've seen both Hawaii and Boise every year for the past 10 years and I can unbiasedly say that Boise State is the better team this year.
I hate saying it, but Boise State has been the class of the WAC for the past several years.....and the second the MWC gives them an invite, they are gone. They may be just one more BCS game away from that happening. They do not want to be in the WAC, and they aren't about to allow Hawaii to take away their chance at bouncing to a better conference.
Hawaii does have the home field advantage....and can obviously score in bunches, but the only way I see them winning this one would be in a triple OT game where the score is something obscene like HAW 77 BSU 73.
Since I believe that Boise at least plays some defense, I figure this game to be more around BSU 49 HAW 35.
If you want to make money.....the play is Boise.
If you're cheering for the home team....just sit back, enjoy the beers and hope for the best. Put your money on a different game.
No matter what happens....this will definitely be an exciting game that nobody will want to miss. Good luck to you all!

My point is that Oregon is NOT a better team than Hawaii without Dixon. Despite losing the game AND losing Dixon, Pollsters still ranked ORE ahead of HAW.
Hawaii is no different from a lot of other teams that don't have the GOLDEN TICKET to the BCS games. The difference for Hawaii is its undefeated record.
Putting your money on Boise St. is not unwise. I have stated such in all of my posts.
Boise St. is not, and never will be, superior to Hawaii. We gotta game here, folks. I got Hawaii @ -2.5 (105).
Enjoy the game and GLA.
