Win

Your
Games
It does not seem that long ago for me to remember when I was a young boy, and my favorite college team never got any national respect. We had great team after great team, all-american players, major bowl wins, three undefeated seasons and a winning streak at one point that was 30-some games. But not one national championship. The constant complaint was our strength of schedule, how we didn't play anyone.
But the team hung in there, kept winning, and gradually the perception changed. Ironically the team's first national championship in 1982-83 was during a season when we actually lost a game.
The team I am talking about is the
Penn State Nittany Lions. (In the 60s and 70s they played as an independent, against mostly eastern schools that were perceived as weak.)
So hang in there, keep winning games, and the perception will change. It's the only way. You have to beat the man, and beat him again and again.
That said, I'm still leaning toward Boise +3.5. That's mainly because of the point spread, which I think is off here. But I would love to see Hawaii win the rest of their games.
Still waiting for someone to tell me -- how many points is a Hawaii home field advantage really worth?
True very true statements my friend.
As far as home field in this one the norm is about 3 but for this game you looking at at least 7-8 point edge.
1) This game is sold out with a lot of crazy Hawaiians in the stands.
2) This one I am ashamed of my friend. Some of the fans are just down right nasty. Throwing debris and sometimes spitting and fighting in the crowd. Good thing for this is that the fans will make some noise when it's Boise St on the offense.
BTW: my crazy Hawaiian friends behave yourself at the game they beefed up HPD and security for this one
3) Hawaii at home very hard to beat.
I'm just basically saying my friend that the Warrior backers in here are just a very small margin of the Warrior fans that are basically tired of hearing that we are not good enough. The players hear it the locals hear it and we read it in the papers everytime the BCS polls comes out. It's even more irritating to hear it from the ESPN commentators when they do the Hawaii games.
The one ignorant statement I heard from an ESPN commentator....
I don't think that the Warriors can beat mainland teams
Don't the Warriors play only mainland teams
All the players took this season 1 game at a time. Colt came back for 1 more season for a reason. He wanted to give back to the Warrior fans the same Aloha we gave him when no one else wanted him.
Happy Thanksgiving my friend to you and the family
