Alabama at Arkansas (09/25/2010)

Another must see game this weekend, but I am not sure it will be that close at the end.  Arky at home with a talented passer throwing to excellent receivers gives the chance for an upset, but that is as far as it goes.  No chance of that anemic running game against the Tide defense, and little chance of their defense standing up to the pounding of Bama's power running game mixed with McElroy's methodical passing to Julio.  While the Tide was tuning up at Duke and resting starters, the Hogs were pulling out a last play win against Georgia.  I know the Arkansas fans are excited about their team, but this is a different level of talent.

Bama rolls in this game, and it isn't close in the 2nd half.

bama is legit.  they are the only major team that does not seem to play down to talent level of their opponents (ie Texas).  

I believe Mallet should win the Heisman as the QB for  a 1 or 2 loss.  To hecker with Overrated Jake Locker, Mallet is the best college football player this year.  With that being said, I Saban will have Bama very focussed  and this will be statement game for BAMA.

Good spot to go play Ark here coming off of that Duke win. Had Bama played at Ark maybe after playing Florida I would have given Ark a chance at the upset. But Bama is well prepped to go to to Ark and get the win and even cover the spread.

well lets see... a very very average georgia team comes from 14 behind and gets ball at midfield with a chance to win before eventually losing to arkansas last week.... bama has covered every game since prevailing in a close call against auburn last fall...i will take bama every week... and i mean every week until they dont cover... in fact i hope florida blows out kentucky just so next week when they come to tuscaloosa it will keep the line even lower so i can quadruple up on bama for the season....good luck to anyone who takes arkansas in this game... you will be making your bookies smile.... arkansas 20 bama 45.

I grew up watching the hogs, broyles was our annointed one. Now year after year I make my money betting against them when they should have an easy win but always betting on them when they are up against someone they can't possibly beat. They seldom fail me.

Mallet is a fine QB but he cannot score when the Hogs don't have ball (Bama gonn a run de ball) and he cannot score if he is on his back (Bama gonna play de-fence)..

Majority on Bama (as expected) 83%........line opened at -7 Bama.....and some books -7.5.....current line at most books is -7.

Arkansas will come to play....JUST as SMU covered tonight...when the public play was TCU....

Being a student of the SEC I can tell you, THIS WILL BE A BRAWL !  Bama will be coming in with their best team in years, this will be one fired up Hog team baby !  Will it be enough, I don't know ?  On the Road in the SEC in this type of game, Mallett being one of the best QB's in the Country, Bama with as good a ground and pound rushing game which I have seen in many years !  Turnovers turnovers turnovers, who has the fewest and where on the field they occur will be a key of course. 

Nick Saban in these parts is considered to be a lying no good sack of horse dong, but the man is a great motivator there is no denying that, he will have this Bama team ready to ROLL !  And like we say round these parts, "Roll Tide Roll, right down the toilet bowl"! 

I look for Bama to squeak out the win but the Hogs cover !  R-Kansas +7 for me !
