Things of Interest

I have gone through all the games to date in current season and have some findings you might find interesting.

1. Games where Projection Model predicts the Favorite will cover ( not based on greater than 7 pt. differential.) Teams are a combined 9 - 0 ATS.

2. Games where Projection Model predicts Favorite will Lose the game outright the Favorites are a combined 4-0-1 ATS.

3. Games where the Projection Model shows the Favorite will win by 70% of the line but not 100% Teams are a combined 6-7 ATS.

4. Games where Projection Model shows the Favorite will win by 69% of the given line or Less are a combined 2-4-1 ATS.

Any Interest in just noting numbers 1 & 2 for now everyone?

Would you mind sharing how you developed your system. I am currently building my own but can definalty  use some advice. I am very good in excel and am wondering if you use excel too. Also if you did use excel would you mind sending me the spread sheet?

Roughshod31, I developed an Access database to track the matchups week to week comparing their Sagarin ratings.  I am interested in your YPPT system.  I've been a custom software developer for the last 15 years and I'm very proficient in Excel and Access.  I would like to share info, methods and tools on systems.

I made a few minor adjustments to the System, we'll have to see how things go moving forward.

I personally buy the HOOK in games like this, I feel its a little added insurance.

What SOS ratings do you use? If you change the rating system does it effect your formula at all
