You have no idea what your talking about in regards to Jefferson. What you saw against Miss St is about as good as he gets, and that was barely adequate. He's been maturing, as you call it, for a season and half ........ he's not even close to being an average division 1 QB !
With that being said, LSU is superior to WVU imo but that means nothing with Jordan Jefferson leading this team ! And btw I bleed purple and gold, and have so my entire life .......
Our defense may very well win and cover this one once again.
I would not say I don't have any idea, and I won't say you don't have any idea. I'd just say we disagree a bit. GL this week.

Miles was quoted today saying that the #15 offense has yet to be seen on the field. The games have not dictated that the offense do anymore that it already has.
Our offense is preparing to answer the call based on the need of the game, and certainly in last Saturday's game it answered that call very well,'' Miles said Monday.

As long as LSU is covering, who really gives a fuck? They're talented, they're fast, they're physical, and they play with swagger. Does anybody honestly think they care about being flashy? They're trying to win, they're trying to smack teams around, they're trying to punch you in the mouth every chance they get, and make you remember the night you played the Tigers. That's all they're about, and that style of football is what wins championships. Not everybody has an explosive offense, and we all know that plenty of teams have won national championships with QBs that weren't any better than Jefferson. These guys don't need it becuz they're defense is killer and they are very sound in their special teams play. So once again, they're gonna cover the spread against an inferior opponent. Will they lose at least a couple of games this year? Absolutely, but this is the kind of team that you know when to bet on, and when not to bet on. And this week is another juicy one for Baton Rouge.

Ok I really hate when people get on here and can't see past their own team... Not taking anything away from LSU because they are a good football team... but if LSU is going to cover the spread on Saturday they are going to have to score TD's...
To say that MSU had no answer for the LSU's D is hardly accurate... MSU ran the ball pretty effectively in that game... But the bad decision making by Relf and Russell's inexperience led to those 5 INT's... MSU has yet to establish a passing attack this year which has led to 2 straight losses... Not making any excuses for MSU but they should have just running the ball... MSU has a lot of growing up to do and needs to get better QB play if they want to have a good year...
LSU on offense impressed me... they look a lot better and JJ looked inspired... They only critique I have of them is the inability to put it in the end zone...
I do like LSU in this game but want to wait to see what the line does... Death Valley at night is a tough place to play and I'm not sure how WVU's young QB will handle 90,000+ drunk screaming cajuns because they haven't experienced a crowd this loud yet

There are two cappers in my life who I respect beyond all others. One loves WVU. One loves LSU. I'm very confused. I don't think either team is particularly good, though I like LSU's upside better.

Les is hated on due to his lack of thinking quick in play calling. The onside kick last year vs. Ole Miss and couldn't get the field goal team out has a lot of people still grinding their teeth, the Penn St. bowl game loss also has had fans on edge. The basic fact here is that most everyone doesn't think hes capable of making the right choices to take them to a N.C. And this is very true but LSU fans have expected nothing less since the early 2000's. So this is basically unreasonable judgment and he gets absolutely destroyed with negative criticism when he screws up. I don't agree that they will lose to Auburn and Florida on the road, both these teams are very beatable. Bama at home...probably but that's a night game in BR and anything can happen. Arkansas I believe will be the toughest one, they seem to be the real deal. Personally, a home game at night this weekend giving 7pts Id take my chances being 3-0 ATS.
