WV @ LSU

Just some info.

West Virginia runs a 3-3-5 defense which spreads the field and looks to create turnovers.

However, the average weight of their defensive lineman is 267.4 lbs. And not one WVU defense lineman weighs over 300 lbs.

LSU's average weight on its offensive line two-deep is 304.7 lbs. Our lightest lineman, T-Bob Hebert, is bigger than all but one DL from West Virginia.

LSU is averaging 203 yards a game on the ground, and I fully expect them to get atleast that. LSU should be looking to pound the rock early in this game.

LSU is the only 3-0 team to have played 3 BCS teams this year. (depleted UNC, Vandy, MSU) WV 3-0 against 2 FBS schools and Maryland.

This is the second away game for WV this year. They escaped with an overtime win against Marshall in week 2 on national TV. Marshall got up big early, and slowly lost momentum.

Under is 8-1 in LSU last 9 home games.  Under is 8-2 in LSU last 10 games on grass.  LSU is 4-11 ATS in their last 15 home games.

LSU -6.5 @ the greek right now. Total guess  - 44.5

LM is in over his head. He can't manage the talent he has on the field and the O play calling as a whole the last 3 seasons has been terrible. The year we won the NC everyone was saying how much of an idiot LM was for all those 4th down calls and unorthodox play calling . But they kept going his way and LSU kept winning.  No one in BR complained. But his clock management , play calling, and his inability to produce a QB over the past few years have become frustrating for lots.

I hear you but how do you explain the similar numbers with miles having a better bowl record and more wins in 5 years???  If Saban was the better coach he would have better numbers????  I dont think we can say that Miles has any better talent then what Saban had?  So to say Miles is winning just because of talent well Saban had the same or better talent but yet miles still has more wins and a better bowl record.  How do you explain that????? His 4-1 bowl record speaks for itself.  Miles teams have scored under 20 pts in 8 games in 5 years....saban teams in 5 years scored und 20 15 times....so how can you argue the offensive play calling is bad...seems to me the guy know what he is doing with his offense..and if you looks at the numbers he is better than saban in almost every category.....saban is 2-0 against miles heads but if both teams had the same players the past two years and you put saban with lsu and miles with bama I am sure miles would have went 2-0

LSU was lucky to beat a depleated NC team, coaching almost cost them that game

they have beaten to of the worst S.E.C. teams the past 2 weeks,

but at home LSU is tough,

they loose at FLA and AU (both on the road)

they also loose to BAMA (at home)....

they also loose to ARK. (on the road)

other than mabye beating AU on the road, not a bad season 3-4 losses.

i think they take care of business this weekend, i would want to have LSU under 7 if possbile , nothing over.

Miles is good had some things. Game planning for 30+ days I'll actually take Miles 7 out of 10 times, but ingame management is horrendous. Field is no excuse but if we play PSU on turf we win that game, and Miles is 5-0 in bowls. People forget that he is getting paid 3.7 mil a year, and IMO 8/9 win seasons are unacceptable for that salary bracket.

LSU won the game bc they were the better team on the field Sat. State had no answer for the Tigers D and special teams. If you give the ball up 5 times in any game you're probably going to lose, but TOs are a part of the game. Outgained or not, it's not like it was 29-24 or anything resembling that for that matter.

LSU I think will cover a 4th straight.... Patrick Peterson is a stud he will get another INT and special team TD.  The defense is really good and will be poised for another great performance. I think Les has decided to gut it out with Jefferson at this point just because he doesn't want the guy who may force a turnover ( Lee)

Les Miles has always had haters, it's because he is a happy person and today's cynical society cannot stand it.  His players love him and want to win for him more than any other players in the country.  LSU will be in a BCS bowl this year.  LSU has all the intangiables that most people don't get.

Jordan Jefferson is maturing with each game, and Patrick Peterson is the best secondary player in the country right now.

It's cool to hate on Les and LSU right now, but they just keep on winning, kind of like BSU.

All of this comes from a Gator Fan that hates LSU BTW, but I won't let that stop me from making money.

You have no idea what your talking about in regards to Jefferson.  What you saw against Miss St is about as good as he gets, and that was barely adequate.   He's been maturing, as you call it, for a season and half ........ he's not even close to being an average division 1 QB !

With that being said, LSU is superior to WVU imo but that means nothing with Jordan Jefferson leading this team !  And btw I bleed purple and gold, and have so my entire life ....... 

Our defense may very well win and cover this one once again.
